terms & Conditions Become a Childminder

This page provides information abou tthe legal terms and conditions that apply when you place an order for products or services or apply for membership.
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to any order you place through nicma.org (the Website).
You do not have to be a member of NICMA to access the shop, but if you are a member you will receive discounts and special offers.

When you place an order you will need to supply us with compulsory personal information and confirm that all information and details you have provided are true, accurate and up to date in all respects.
 

NICMA Shop and Delivery

 

Placing your order

Online in the NICMA Shop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By phone or post, Monday to Thursday, 9.00 am – 4.15 pm , Friday 9.00am - 1pm* If you require further assistance, please contact NICMA on 02891 811015.


Delivery

All orders are sent the next working day by second class post.* Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. If you have not received your order, please check if the Post Office has your order waiting for collection, otherwise please contact us on 02891 811015.

*Excludes weekends, bank, public holidays and periods of offic closure.


Payment methods

We accept most major credit/debit cards facilitated through Paypal. You may also use a Paypal account if you have one.
By cheque: orders will be processed upon receipt of your cheque please include a note with your postal address and the products you wish to purhase.
By cash: orders can be paid for in cash at NICMAS Office. Please do not send cash via the post.


Returns and Exchanges to Office

Item(s) may be returned for a refund within 21 working days of purchase providing they are in a resaleable condition. Please include details of what you would like to exchange the item(s) for and also include any payment details in the event that there is any price difference. Please also include your NICMA membership number (If applicable), full name and address details and a contact telephone number along with a note detailing why the item(s) are being returned.

Postage and packaging charges for both refunds and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. If you require further assistance, please contact us on 02891 811015.
 

Membership


NICMA reserves the right to refuse an application for membership if the information supplied is found to be inaccurate or the terms of registration are under investigation. NICMA membership is open to those registered persons who agree to abide by the policies of NICMA and not to bring NICMA into disrepute.
NICMA membership is onlu available to Registered Childminders and Approved Home Childcarers in Northern Ireland.
 

Cancellation of Services/Membership


You have the right to cancel your contract for membership, products and services from NICMA (including training courses) within 14 days.  The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the date of your purchase.
After this 14 day period all training courses are non-refundable.
